Sometimes the weather cooperates, sometimes it doesn’t. Last Saturday, it was the latter. Not to be deterred by a little rain, we got out and did some bike riding and exploring. And pictures, of course.

I went out tonight with one mission: ice cream. I brought my camera (just in case), and came back with this picture and a gallon of Hudsonville Cake Batter. Nam Nam.
We took a little vacation this week and spent some time up north at our friends’ cottage. Fishing, skiing, turtle catching, you name it. Good times. The boom on the side of the boat is just that. A boom that you can hang on to while learning to ski or barefoot. Great for teaching kids…
These two were a pleasure to work with. It was hot, humid, and we were in a field with more distractions than a state fair, but they brought their A Game and stuck it out till the bitter end. I could go on about them, but I think the pictures speak for themselves.
So. This session was a lot of fun, and we got some fantastic images as a result. Great light + great subject + fun atmosphere = awesome images, every time.
