There’s something you should know.
It’s not Just Alex. I have an assistant, and she happens to be my wife as well. She’s pretty awesome. Sometimes it’s hard to figure out who’s really in charge, but we manage pretty well.
We live in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
And I’m not just a photographer, I’m a photography junkie. I can’t get enough of it – I eat, breathe, and sleep photography. Gear, technique, composition, processing, light, it’s all running through my head on some level for most of the day.
So I’m not the guy who’s going to show up and snap off a few dispassionate frames, throw some random processing on them and tag you on Facebook. That’s not me. I’m the guy who’s emotionally invested in you and your wedding. I’m working hard, putting real effort into getting the moments that make up your day. I’m seeing your day in a way that you can’t when you’re in the middle of it.
And when it’s all said and done, when the day is over and the honeymoon has come and gone, your pictures are what you’ll be left with. That’s why it’s important to me, and that’s why it should be important to you too.
