As much as they wanted to, the kids couldn’t quite make it through the play tonight. And somewhat surprisingly, the other 850 people managed to leave without waking them up.
We spent some time at a lake about an hour or two north by the name of Big Star Lake. There were fireworks. There was a parade. We went fishing, had campfires, caught frogs (almost), and ate till we couldn’t no more. It was fun. A happy Fourth of July to you and yours.
